While touring a Church one day, I saw a closed door of the confessional. Thinking about the transformations that take place in such a room, I decided to try and capture that. People enter feeling depressed, scared, broken, but hopeful…and leave feeling healed, happy, renewed, confident. This shows the point of utter vulnerability. When a person confesses their deepest secrets, putting it all out there, to have the Grace of God flow over them to uplift and renew their spirit.
