From the Artist:
I think monsters in the closet represent the fear and isolation people feel in their lives. Scaring everything away from them until they feel safe. But there is another way to be. Visit the MDE Art Blog to find out how I approach a monster in my closet.

I agree. People who are anti-social do have monsters in their closet. If they look closely they’ll see it’s a reflection of themselves in the form of fear they have manifested of life.

Wonderful, before I read the words, I was totally scared of this face! Now I see what you are talking about, and it’s still a scary face.

This monster is coming out of the shadows. Good insight Vikki on fear. Michael the baggage that he seeps from, excellent measure. Let it be diffused slowly. Had tough time conveying the opening behind the closed door; your take on the challenge is excellent. Do we open it wide; keep it closed or conceal with thin veil our “secrets”.

Wonderful work Michael! And I must admit that this one does scare me – I need to check behind all of my closed doors now…..
