    I love it Vikki,
    The colors are my favorites.
The limb the frog is on is broken – great touch!
The legs of your bug are fabulous – I can almost see its next step!

They have been caught in the act with the June Bug taking center stage. Way you use your colors to make your eyes move around the piece, off and then back into the canvas; linger over the critters of the theme; taking notes am I as depth is very hard to convey. The brushstrokes and color use between the plant and leaves creates such space and airyness Vikki lending to the credibility of the piece.

Such a pretty work, love the feeling of the light moving through and around the whole work. You create magic worlds with your work where everything and anything is possible…simple magic.

Thanks all. As Beckie had said with her painting, it’s a lot of fun to get into a simple little piece..

I do have to tell you- doing that bug was a shade creepie. I’m not a bug person and those creepie crawly legs and gave me the willies. Although, as I researched them, I was amazed at all the amazing colors of June Bugs and well understand why our girl Cleo defined them as living jewels. They can be beautiful.
