I feel as if I’m standing right there, leaning on a fence, inhaling the fresh country air. The sweet fragrance of fresh cut hay wafting to my senses. I have no idea how you manage these amazing works, but you truly are a master.

    Hi Anthony,
Your landscapes are just amazing. ‘Breath-taking and breathable and so very relaxing are the words that come to mind.

(A little bird told me your doing a series of landscapes. Best of luck)

How very appropriate for mid August on the newly cropped crop. Look at the reflection in the runoff. Your work brings all senses to play. Never tire do I of gazing and trying to take it all in.

Everything about this painting is perfect. I especially love the tree reflected in the pond!

You can just smell the cuttings on this beautifully clear, country day…:0)

Anthony says a big thank you for the lovely comments and so glad you like this view of our home here in Yorkshire. It is one of the first in a series he is doing for an exhibition in October of local landscapes .

I feel like I could walk through the field, getting my shoes wet from the dew. I can hear the animals off somewhere, and smell the sweet grass, feel the breeze. It looks and feels like coming home.
