From Heather:
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the
source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger,
who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as
dead: his eyes are closed.” ~Albert Einstein

Very poignant symbolism Heather. It has similarity to or feel of the ancient Aztec or southwest Indian symbols. Love the rich blue.

Brought back memories of my recent day-long hike into the Australian outback, where, standing beneath the lip of a rocky overhang, I marveled at the wondrous indigenous petroglyphs.

Heather…the imprint on this is hypnotic. Couple that with the symbolism the piece is 3 dimensional. While in Mexico couple years ago spent time in the Mayan village of Cancun. This could have been one of their temple rubbings of long ago and has the same feel of the stonework. Excellent.
