My friend gave me a back and white photograph of this beautiful sunset over a lake and I have always been struck by the rays coming out from behind the clouds. So I asked her permission to paint it.
When I finished the painting. I realized that there were 2 hidden treasures in the clouds! As we all know, we always see something in the clouds when we look up, don’t we?
So I had quite a surprise to find a baby Unicorn and the baby elephant in my painting that I hadn’t notice in her photograph…and yes it is there!

Welcome to your first Challenge! My kids used to call sun rays coming through the clouds like this-‘God Clouds’.
Very pretty and nicely done.
(I definitely see an elephant and a unicorn.)

Makes me feel all good inside and reminds me of warm summer days, especially when I was younger, picnic basket emptied, champagne and chicken consumed, shirt off, laid back in some bucolic meadow and just daydreaming the rest of the afternoon away.
