Hi Judith,
Verrrrry scary ghost! (I especially love that the ghost wears his mask. lol) Great fun-extraordinary detail and beautiful work as always.

The subject matter is definitely someone I wouldn’t want to come across in a dark hallway or anywhere else! Like a puzzle, your work leaves me trying to figure out certain background details that remain as illusive as the ghost who’s depicted center-stage.

The hotel decor is interesting. He doesn’t seem to mind his situation, does he? I bet he gets room service, I’d hang around for that too. The lighting and color choices are very well done!!

Your painting make me want to create my own story. To me, that makes them very special, it just doesn’t end with seeing it! Great work!

Incredible painting ! I love the harsh lighting and subsequent shadows from the folds of clothing; looks soft enough to touch .. amazingly realistic ! Kinda feel sorry for him .. of the FEW *cough* times I was sent to languish in my room as a child I can’t imagine being prisoner in a hotel, aside from being murdered and the culprit getting away ! Yeah .. I’d be making trouble too hehe ..

Thank you all for you kind comments. I just love to play with oblique narratives.

Ok….this one stopped me in my tracks. Being away from home and in a wilderness setting Judith, lend me his mask so am protected from what is beyond the boundary!
