Again a poignant piece.A line from the movie ‘Woman’ -”Being born a woman is a gift.’ I’d have to agree.

There’s just something about a well-presented nude that I’ve always found thoroughly fascinating, this one no exception, especially in its forcefully representation of the female as something other than just a sexual object.

Very statuesque; an amazon in repose. She almost seems to be cast of brass or copper; having weathered and boldly stood the test of time. I love looking at it !

Powerful. The head turn and the cast shadows portray all the direction and conviction of her inner reflection. Very poignant piece!
