From Jfay: The cavern in which she enters has a niche filled with a large stack of candles. Somehow she suspects, it all has something to do with her mother who makes candles as a hobby.

Automatically, she pulls one conveniently placed candle from the pile. She stands it upright on an adjacent block of stone. From the pocket of her robe, she produces a lighter and sets fire to the wick.

Resulting shadows flicker the wall. The candle shimmers in distorted light and darkness to — quite miraculously — seem to assume human form: a girl, no older than Melissa, with long dark hair. She wears a long blue robe. Her mouth moves, but there’s no sound.

(Excerpt from W. Maltese’s FLICKER: The Teen Warrior Saga) What Secrets Does The Shadow Candle Hold?

The FLICKER SHADOW CANDLE has been brought to life by Candle Artist Jfay and is scented in SHADOW SPIRIT, a haunting fragrance of Sandalwood, Ginger, Apple, Sage, and Citrus.

Jfay this is so gorgeous and so very appropriate to Shifting Shadows.

BTW I’ve already got one of these sold! You’ll see it in your PayPal log. How do you like that?

Always a complete package from the impact of the image to the story. We are all drawn to candle light and I enjoy the dancing shadows it creates.

It’s always such a pleasure to see the wax-marvels you manage to conceive, especially from my story lines. It was especially my pleasure working with you on the FLICKER project, now about to come to a close as that teen-angst candle-reader, vampire, book moves into its print version, which saw not only this particular candle added to my collection but oh-so-many others. Brava!

Beautiful ! Almost looks like dark fingers of shadowed clouds taking over resilient blue skies. Very tempting .. I may have to own one as well !

Jfay, this candle is beautiful. The gray and blue blend together wonderfully. It looks like the bats that fly out in the evening from the Congress street bridge in Austin!

I told Sonya she’d go bonkers when she saw this one. LOL. No- I didn’t let her see it before the premiere, Jfay, but I read her the description. She loves blue.

This is definitely one of, if not the favorite of yours that I’ve seen!
