I think the trick, for me, is to know when to stop mixing colors, just the black and white here, and then in manipulating them until I have a 'that's it' moment :) And, yes, for sure, this medium does do alot of borrowing/mimicking from other mediums for inspiration. I have never in my life seen an artist that is so able to make a substance look like it’s something else the way you do. Anyone would vow that this is chrome and metal.
