Perfect… using a window for presentation nearly 3 feet vertical. Looks like it is full of texture (are these the collage areas?, what kind of paper did you use your work is making me ask 50 questions. Blog more about this piece Lisa. Bet your a featured artist on the Boundless Gallery site often!

Thanks so much for your warm words on this piece.
It is all paper with a few acrylic highlights.
The papers I used are: found papers, tissue papers, handmade papers. I painted, stained and stamped some of them and I also used papers that I printed from my computer.
There is also a small image at the top. It is a photograph that I took of an old church in Ottawa while visiting there a couple of years ago.
My inspiration was mainly the colors and textures of the paper mixed with my passion for mystery, darkness and a curiosity for the occult.
Hope I don’t scare anyone…

The neutral color high horizon keeps allows this piece to be well grounded. I do enjoy the color and the textures of this piece. I also enjoyed your blog and the collage work.
