Mind blowingly beautiful Rusty. Love, love, love the rich color palette. Also love the Dante quote. Right up our alley. LOL

    Vikki,

We had the priviledge of an exhibit here of a privately owned collection of Dali’s work, including his work of Dante’s Inferno. Loved it.

    Sonya,

You comments are so poetic!! I think they discribe my work better than I did!

So reminds me of Neuronal Synapses firing off in a troubled brain. Particularly apropos, I’d say, in how so many people’s hells are so often found within their malfunctioning minds. The colors, as in so many of your works, are simply extraordinary, and do so pull the viewer in!

Geez Rusty. That must have been extraordinary. Would love it if you write about that in the Pub. I’m sure everyone would be interested in what you saw. I sure would and if you were allowed to take pictures-please post them.

I love how you achieved these highly saturated colors with watercolor. Gorgeous piece.

    Lisa,

I posted the wrong medium. They are acrylic inks. Acrylic inks alone still won’t get such intensity. Its how you set the color. Thanks.

Hi Rusty, is this the new face of expressionism? Suggested shapes of hidden things, alive and vibrant. I wonder how much you plan and how much is produced by guided accident. A very successful piece. Very turbulent!

    Thank you, Ray,

I work hard to guide the accident. This style is the balance to most of my work which requires intense attention to detail. I’m enchanted with the results.

Yes, I am mostly drawn in by the areas where the colors meet. I, too, wonder how much was planned or done as you worked?
