Love the flowers snuggled up to the tree. Then — must be my morbid way of looking at things — I couldn’t help remembering those jungle vines I saw in the deep Amazon that “loved” trees so much that they actually smothered them. But, hey, that’s me. Really must make it a point to read “Tilly Turnbolt’s Letter to the Loveless”.

Oh William- That is such a great basis for a story! I wish I’d talked to you BEFORE I wrote Tilly. You are so brilliant!

It is the light that you put into your artwork that moves and lifts. How appropriate the story line of support and tender union. You are all this to the artists and writers of this site!

I love the idea of a flower loving a tree! Never thought of it like that before – Anthony and I love Lilies and red is our favourite colour so you’ve scored a hit on both counts . Beautiful Vikki!

Vikki, yes, beautiful and I really loved the abrupt ending to your letter! Red is also my favorite color :)

    Thanks Fanny,
I love gardening. It’s where I find my ‘calm’, if you can understand that. It’s ever changing and always welcoming.

    Hi Cheryl-
Thank you so much. I think (?) most of my stories happen after the paintings. That’s something to ponder. LOL
