    Hi Mary-
Oh yes. The silent trials of marital bliss. Great concept.
I love the portrait in the background, seemingly in agreement with the wife’s silent mode.

The grey tones and theme remind me of classic movies of the 40’s. I’d like to know more about there story.

Images that creep into our inner thoughts are cast with this veil. Lovely capture of a memory!

Hey mary mary! So cool to see you back with more wonderous artwork for us to gaze upon! Yes, yes, indeed I do feel the wife’s silence in which I’m sure she will continue on for a while still to come, and mother in agreement it does seem ~

Vikki, Rusty, Sonya, Pegi Sue and Jafy, THANK YOU all for your comments. The painting in the background is a portrait of the wife on their wedding day. But I do like the idea of it being the mother-in-law Pegi Sue. They have been married 15 years and have been having to many fights with the last one being the night before the anniversary. She is trying real hard to forgive, forget and or move on.

    Hi Mary,
I especially like the black and white color tones in this. It is as if she is clear as to her feelings and he is oblivious.

    A raw silence.

Oh, I do love a black-and-white palate! Who would have guessed? I love it, too, that your artwork has a story to tell — before, during the moment of recording, and certainly well into the future. Always a pleasure to see what you’ll come up with, Mary.

A captured moment within a story. My favorite kind of moment. For some reason, my sympathies seem to lie with the wife, not sure why. A great image Mary. I look forward to seeing more of your work,
