    Hi Ray,
Lovely lullaby story. Beautiful color choices and rendering. Very quiet and peaceful scene.

The painting is quaint and such a clever play on a familar phrase. I admire the way you handle your background in so many of your paintings.
    Amazing skill.

Ray so love this delicate nursery story. Your pieces in this series would make the best of illustrations to a wonderful spin of imagination.

So beautiful and magical — Love the background, but of course the owl and kitty cat stole my heart as well ; ) Still thinking about the pirate kitty — he was too cute!

Just another couple of rebels, the owl and the pussycat, floating off into the unknown, or, as it is sometimes called.. Life
Thank you all for your comments.

Thank you Fanny, that’s always good to hear. I quite like the idea of being a musician of the heart.

Cheryl, I’m sure they would be happy for you to join them.

Thanks very much to both of you.

Ray, I very much love everything about this…what did strike me first, though, was how the owl is holding onto the kitty. It seems so peacefully sweet and fits so perfectly with your beautiful sky.

Thanks Sarah, I suppose kitty does look in need of protection, poor thing. Let’s hope owl knows what he’s doing.

This painting is now in the collection of the beautiful Dr Katia Gautier, who helped return my tranquility.
