From Kay:
In essence, the sun is the ‘spirit’ of all life. In this piece I have attempted to capture some examples of this symbiotic relationship.
The sun itself, with it’s outward reaching rays; the moon in both full and crescent form, the stars, & the sweeping winds. Also waves from the effects of the tides, a bit of landscape and birds flying in the clear air.
* “Spirit of the Sun” is also available as a print. Contact the artist at her website listed above for details.

Kay have had the pleasure of viewing your site prior to this posting. Your stained glass work is excellent with this being a definite favorite. Hung in a window with the sunlight streaming through you won’t have long to get attached to this one!

Congratulations, Kay! Love your piece. I’ve been a genuine fan of stained glass as an art medium ever since Italian stained-glass master Diego Tolomelli used me as model for two panels he did for my ARTISTS “DO” author WILLIAM MALTESE collection (one of which was my “becoming” the vampyre Vlad Draqual).

Congratulations, Kay. I actually saw the segment in which your sun had been shown. It’s beautiful.
I’ve done some stained glass artwork a loooong, looong time ago and know how much work goes into making one like this.
