Love the idea that this is a ’tile’ Rusty and SO beautiful. I would love to do some of these. Just amazing!

Hi Rusty. What a fantastic effect, you’ve really caught the way light travels through water and I get that rage and calm thing; just like water, the giver and the taker. Stunning!

Rusty, I know how very busy you have been with your workshops and shows; hence, amazed that you were about to do this justice! It’s beautiful.

Vikki,
It is nice to have such a different surface to paint on. Its unexpected, I think. And when needed its an instant trivet.

Ray,
Water’s duality is pressed upon us by our limitations. Thank you.

William,
Tile work has a long history in the world of art and decor. While there may only be “one” tile somehow we know that it should be one of many to make the picture or create that pattern.

Sonya,
I had created this tile and three others for an event several months ago. I rarely show them and was thrilled to have this month’s theme. This has been a busy four months with the shows and workshops. No sign of slowing down for a while yet…did I wish for this? oh yea, wished for it and worked for it. Sorta like, “Calm Amid the Raging Joy.”

So true! I suppose this giver and taker thing doesn’t really apply to fish!

Rusty, It would be interesting to make this into a larger piece adding more tiles that reflect your entire recent journey. This one inspires me to think she is in a funnel of radiant light, showing her true self. Verrrry nice!
