Although portraits are a challenge that every artist does,
to create a ‘Portrait of an Artist’ creates a mental fuss.
Do we a portray ourselves or portray our brother?
And if we don’t flatter will we find angry fervor?
Well, accepting this challenge yells out for a visage,
So with our brushes we hold our subjects hostage!
