Will you look at those light entrails!!! Took me quite a while to get down to what was written. especially like taking up the brush…no doubt you’ve used a toothbrush to get some texture into your work–age in the mirror? I see no hard edges there dearheart-now for moi….I tape a picture of Marilyn Monroe on the mirror each morn!
Really like the way you handled the light!

Oh Karen this is so great! You really made me laugh when I first saw it. I especially like the reflected light from the blinds on her body. that is so much fun. Really masterful work.

I love the reflection of the blinds on her body and the idea that an artist uses more than one kind of brush

Is that one of your paintings on the wall behind you?
This made me wonder, “what do I do with my left arm while I brush my teeth with my right hand?”
You are crazy good with shadows!!!

Beautiful light, I love the way the horizontal lines move you inward. I went to your blog, can’t wait to see the finished version of the woman with the hair brush! Gorgeous work.
