From Vikki:
In every story there is a villain; someone or something that creates the trouble. Even in mankind’s very first tale of the Garden of Eden there is the serpent. If you really think about, without the serpent there would be no story at all.

“Oh Helena ..You naughty, naughty girl. “

Why are the villain always so drop dead beautiful and handsome? Tempters on all levels they be. Vikki, her foot tickling the waters.. masterful!

Vikki, each time I see one of your new works my jaw just drops. You have a very distinctive way of dealing with characters. She is beautiful and sensuous, toes in the water, plotting, but through the trees? What lies beyond. A mysterious and delightful bit of pictorial narrative. You are the Master!!!

Thanks Sonya and Ray. Of all the characters, I always found Helena so intriguing. What a trouble maker! She really puts the sour in vinegar.

I first had her gazing off into the water and then it occurred to me – Helena would be looking right at us- watching every move! lol

Ahhh, the vixen. She is straight on with the I dare ya look. Such poise Vikki. I love this.

Thanks Cheryl. I just found her character irrestible in the play. She’s such a bad girl.

How perfect the touch of green on her sleeves…the envy that creates the current of
the drama! I love her large brown eyes.

Vikki, I so love every single element! The flower, I think, is so…purposeful…comes to mind, not sure if right word. And I agree with Ray, I feel pulled to walk between your trees that I am in love with to see what is beyond…

    Thank you Rusty and Sarah,
We can all say so much with just a look – you know?

I actually wasn’t thrilled with my jpg on this. I always shoot about 30 or 40 before I find one that’s right (Sadly- I’m not exaggerating. lol)

Vikki, she is a gorgeous femme fatale. The trees look similar to the ones enveloped by poison ivy in my area…a lovely depiction where the forest seems to entice the viewer as much as her facial expression.

    Hi Gail,
Thanks. I think all of ‘we girls’ have known this woman and felt that stare. lol

The trees were a lot of fun to do. They are by no means naturalistic but really an enganging process when I got into them.
