Amazing Sarah. You turn clay into different matter or substance with such ease. I love the multicoloring and sophistication of this piece.

for me, nothing communicates more than the reaching for another with hand. Even the eyes take a back step in conveying and connecting. Through the hands one walks in to the other’s existence in life! Beautiful Sarah.

What your image says to me is love and caring, the importance of reaching out and embracing all we hold dear. I love your poem that goes with this piece and I love your sculpture. Thank you for a wonderful message portrayed so well.

Thank you
Vikki, it was fun playing with more color than I usually use at one time. Sonya, I just love how you said that, I think that’s beautiful!

I am always amazed at your intellectual interpretation of the theme in a medium few so creatively manipulate.
I found the green in the hands reminds me of foilage. “Healing”.

Ray, thanks, yes, embrace it all, good and bad, and all in between…it’s life!
Rusty, that is very nice of you to say, thank you. And, I wanted the multi-coloring to represent the different ‘colors’ of all of us, but did purposely put the green on top with ‘greenery’ in mind to tie us back to the Earth of which the hands are embracing. How’s that for sounding smart?!!
