SO MUCH FUN! Wow! I got to see this up close and personal and the textures are incredible.
I think this is one of my favorite of this series, Gail. Symbolism comes across so beautifully.
    Great work!!

This is great fun and really beautiful. Probably everyone should have one hanging by their bed as they awake. What a kick start to their day that would be. Superb!

Wow! Such riotous and vibrant colour! Stands out. Totally excellent!

Gail took me a while to be able to start with this one. This is exactly what dreams are made up; complete with the figurehead of the dreamer within. So mesmerizing and dramatic. Congrats on a beautiful rendition. (So many levels to this)

Are those eyes of peacock feathers? I keep looking deeply into this and enjoy the depth.

Thank you all for your complimentary comments. (I wasn’t sure how this would be received and you have all calmed those – “what did I do this for” fears.) Vikki and Andrew Thank you for your kind words. Ray, I WISH everyone had one above their bed! Although some may wake up and wonder if they’d gone crazy. Yes Cheryl, those are peacock feathers in the eyes. Truth be told, I simply ran out of time…am currently working a bit more on the feathers and the angel, to bring those elements into view. Still working out this theme of so many layers to life – and which one we are truly here to focus on. More thought on this is explained in my blog.

Gail, I am a fan of anything to do with the elements, I so love this, too. Off to find your others…

whew!!! I feel that wind, filled with life, color and magnificence!! Really great piece Gail. Air can be such a difficult element to depict, but you have nailed it with ferocity – and I can only imagine the impact it has in it’s full size, and glory! gorgeous.

Thanks Sarah and Karin….I love bright color and these element paintings are just filled with so much fun and inspiration for me. There is unlimited information, in every culture, from every spot on the globe relating to them. They seem to have become my muses-I could do three or more of each element and many more on the associated muses…the ideas keep flowing.
