This is so pretty Rusty. And I agree that wilting flowers and weeds can be more interesting than fresh cut flowers. So much more personality, like a story that needs to be told.

a little like my friends and associates, who are perfectly, imperfect.

Rusty, I often notice wild flowers and weeds in unused fields and think a lot are prettier and more natural than say ones you buy in a flower shop.

I love the depth in this, it really draws you in, plus the way the leaves and petals play against each other.

Need I not to stop and smell the roses but let my heart weave amongst the wildflowers of life and touch the heart of being! Fragile and beautiful Rusty.

This is lovely and I love the vintage feel it has.

A beautiful composition. Even in decay, flowers hold their wonder. You have captured this so well.

Thank you for your comments. I felt delightfully at peace with the imperfection of these flowers. They didn’t need to be understood or accepted. They exist, period.
I thoroughly enjoyed painting them.
