Brilliant Ray. So delicate and your detail always so engaging.
You incorporate the negative space like it’s just another color on the paper. You are definitely a master of the watercolor. (No wonder you teach. lol)

Maybe thrown, but made to think they fell!
I love the way line and space are used in this. She definitely is portrayed as a beautiful, delicate soul.

Thanks Vikki and Gail. I very much appreciate your comments. Technically, the negative space is always a considered part of any composition I create, thank you for noticing, Vikki. And yes, they were pushed, both her and Ralph. Fallen Angel IS a beautiful delicate soul, deserving of better.

Hi Ray- the thing about it (negative space) is that it’s so brave of you!! lol Half of the picture plane is untouched and that’s an intricate part of the beauty of this compostion. Really gorgeous.

Love the graphic quality to this and the atmospheric effect in the background.

So glad that Vikki put these two pieces side by side. Ray the have a surrealistic feel to them; fragile and am wondering what they would look like behind glass or as a stained glass piece!

A frame, mat and glass will add quality, enrich the colors and enhance the graphic quality of the pieces by adding further symmetry. As stained glass windows? Wow, now that’s an idea!!!
    Thanks, Sonya.
