From Lisa: I created this piece at my last outdoor art fair. I was working on it under a maple tree. I left to have lunch. When I came back a maple leaf had fallen onto my work table. It was just the perfect shade and shape to be incorporated in this collage. Not to mention the fact that the day looked more like fall than the eve of the first day of summer!

I enjoyed the origin of the lea in this work. lol
It just happens to blow in -so what to do? Make it a part of the layout! It really does add a balance and becomes the ’star’ of the composition. This is so fresh and warm. Really nice piece, Lisa.

my mind is reeling trying to guess at the textures you have incorporated in the lower half of this Lisa and the dimensions—2 feet tall. A river runs through it comes to mind. Beautiful

Lisa, I enjoyed the story of this work, as well, and think it gives it extra character. I can just feel the texture you’ve created.
