So much fun, Sue! Love the demon hanging off the glass. And the glass of cognac is really rendered beautifully. Rich color and I like your shadow element under it.

Hello Sue, welcome to your first challenge. Can I tell you all that Sue’s work is usually a little more serious than this, beautifully executed with a lovely natural and easy style. She had been painting a long time before she met me and I love her work which I hope you’ll be seeing much more of in the future. But this one definitely fitted the challenge, wouldn’t you say? Well done, miss Hull (It’s really Mrs. but it wouldn’t have sounded as funny.)

Hi all
Thanks for your welcoming comments, I will certainly have a go in future with more of the challenges! The Cognac Dream was just a bit of fun, but seems to suit this challenge well.
Just a note, my husband isn’t a “Cliff Richard” impersonator, he’s a singer/musician who happens to do a fair number of Cliff’s songs…..

I’ve met more than few that after a few of these and the devil in them come out. Now I know it was the devil in the drink. lol Fun piece painted very well. Clear glass ware is never easy.
