  So sweeeet Ray. One thing that you do frequently is this blush of color across the background and then leaving the rest as negative space for the eye to fill in. I love that. It’s so daring, works so beautifully and seems to come so easy for you. I also really like the way the saturation of burnt sienna washes away as our eye goes down his tail.

  You know this would be an excellent card. Just a thought and we have the resources.

  You know your colors, don’t you. Thank you very much, Vikki. I quite like to use a more graphic style occasionally, I suppose that’s where the use of the negative space comes in.

  Excellent masterpiece ~ I love the color usage of this artwork, and especially the expression when the eyes of the both met, it really fantastic =P
