Oh no, I can’t see the beard…well, I do keep looking at the clothes and shoes (those that are) they are wearing. As with any time period, they have to be such an integral part of the ‘picture’, I think, and I have admired your ‘clothes’ in other paintings, as well.

This painting just didn’t photograph well. Values just seemed to blend together in the jps. It has a lot of subtle glazed layers like a watercolor and that just goes away- at least with my little camera. It’s one that I’m going to need to have professionally shot.
