It is done in Golden acrylics on canvas.
Vikki, the detail is burned into my brain, as this is a landscape I had originally designed years ago. The light, colors, textures and feeling of the landscape are what I try to capture. There are many days I can be found sketching and staring at the foliage and the effects of light on it. As I once told my children when they questioned me about my curiosity with plants – I think you could study one tree all your life and still not know all you could possibly find out about it. Each new season brings new insights for me.
