CONGRATULATIONS ! December 18, 2011 – - KAY MALOUFF - Kay’s 2010 stained glass sun art “Spirit of the Sun” aired on CBS Television Show-”Sunday Morning” this weekend. The segment was about one of our young army vets who lost himself in drugs and was left spiritually bankrupt. Through a secret Santa, and what he referred to as a direct nudge from God, he’s reclaimed his hope and life again.
CONGRATULATIONS ! December 4, 2011 -HEATHER RICCARDI- Heather’s 2011 sun art “WINTER SOLTICE” aired on CBS Television Show-“Sunday Morning” this weekend. The segment was about the weather on our neighbor planet Mars and stated that a ’cold blustering day’ in the Antartic is just a ’normal day’ on Mars.
CONGRATULATIONS ! October 30, 2011 -RUSTY HARDEN- Rusty’s 2010 sun art “CHESHIRE SUN” aired on CBS Television Show-“Sunday Morning” FOR THE THIRD TIME. The segment was about pet owners obsession with dressing their pets in Halloween Costumes.
CONGRATULATIONS ! October 30, 2011-VIKKI NORTH -Vikki North’s 2009 Sun Art submission, ABRUZZI, also aired on Sunday Morning‘s Halloween show. Her sun art closed a segment about ‘vegetation invasion species.’ This is the 11th time Abruzzi has aired on Sunday Morning.
CONGRATULATIONS ! October 23rd, 2011- YOLANDA REDD- Yolanda’s 2011 sun art “Ray‘s of Days” aired on CBS Television Show-”Sunday Morning” . Her painting closed a segment about American record producer and music industry executive Clive Davis.
CONGRATULATIONS ! October 2nd, 2011- JULIE D‘ARCY- Julie’s 2011 sun art “MOTHER SUN” aired on CBS Television Show-”Sunday Morning” . The segment was about Norris Church Mailer, (wife of Norman Mailer) and a tribute to the lives of the iconic couple.
CONGRATULATIONS ! July 17, 2011- RUSTY HARDEN- Rusty’s 2010 sun art “CHESHIRE SUN” aired on CBS Television Show-“Sunday Morning”. The show was dedicated to the love of animals. This is the second time Cheshire Sun has aired nationally on Sunday Morning!!

July 10, 2011- DOUG FEAKES- Doug’s 2010 sun art “SAPPHIRE SUN” aired on CBS Television Show-“Sunday Morning” The segment was about U.K.‘s Royal Newly Weds, Prince William Princess Kate, recent visit to Los Angeles. Doug’s beautiful Jeweled Sapphire Sun Art has AIRED 10 TIMES on various Sunday Morning Segments during 2010- 2011!

Wow! What an amazing collection of sun art! I am excited to see such a large number of pieces, and all so unique and all quite beautiful! Its great to be a part of such a gifted group of artists for sure.

Our work went off and on it’s way to New York first thing this morning (1/10). Last year just shy of 2 weeks post mailing – the first Challenge Sun Art submission appeared on air. Watch the show.
