From Dana The pattern of Cerebon Clouds is a traditional Indonesian design from one island in the archipelago. I’ve been obsessed with this pattern for years – mostly from a sarong wrap of this strange teal color.

So beautiful and tranquil! I believe I could sleep well among those clouds. Wonderful pattern

Dana, This has a zen-like quality to it. Beautiful, peaceful flowing color palette and energy.

    Hi Dana-
I’m mesmerized by that texture also. I’m so spoiled. I get to see everything mega sized! Lol This is a lot of precision work, girl! What I don’t think others can see here is that there is a tiny highlight around the involved frame work of the pattern that pops it away from the darker tones. As always full of personality and so beautifully done.

the pattern is hypnotic definitely. Really do enjoy the sun bubbling and boiling over and around the pattern play

Clouds look fluffy and blending in with the sun, it look fluffy and warm that I want to cuddle myself in both of them, and yes, the sun is sleeping soundly, I wish I can be like it! >=P

Dana, your sun is very beautiful, dreamy and like a lovely poem. Great work, as always!

The sun, lost in the clouds. The sun is resting and we get the chance to glimpse it as it does. Soothing clouds surround. Wonderful.

Thank you, everyone, for the great comments, I’m happy you enjoy the piece. I do now, now that I’m not working on that crazy pattern… Which reminds me, it’s on the backgrounds of four more pieces… I just can’t stop.. Thank you!!
