Hi Ray This is really beautiful. I’ll tell you what I was really taken by is the scene behind your beautiful forward character. A touch of Escher and so surreal. That’s a painting in itself and would also be SO applicable to our next challenge.

Like Georgia O’Keefe and Edgar Allen Poe hooked up and went to Tim Burton for couple’s counseling. Excellent piece.

Thanks everybody for your motivational comments. Escher is one of my heroes, Vikki. Can’t wait to find out what this next challenge is! Thanks Sonya, like you, I just love the act of producing art and it’s great when others like our work.
Thanks Riika, nice to be appreciated. Watercolor has its drawbacks but it can be such a lovely translucent medium.

Sonya, how can a repay you. Name your price!!! (Not really) Your a star (really) Something tells me I should look at the home page. What a great challenge that one will be; What Dreams May Come” I saw the movie with my son. We both loved it.
Lelan, there was a movie, years ago, with Jessie James, Count Dracula and a werewolf, set in Texas. Let’s just say, I’m sure we could do better than that one. I can imagine you could do the E. A. Poe elements very well!!! Does it cost a lot of money to make a movie?

  • 11 Lelan // Feb 3, 2011 at 12:49 am

LOL, Ray. Doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to be too rich for my blood… but maybe after I finally write that book my friends keep getting on me about(here’s a hint: an autobiography entitled “F*CK!”), maybe I get use some of that money to start putting something together…
