This is a painting of the view across from my Son’s lake house. The house was originally built here in Dallas by my Grandfather around the turn of the century. Later on it was moved (in 2 pieces) to the 2 acre lakefront property my Aunt &.Uncle chose as their Retirement home. I have so many great memories of sun filled summers…water skiing, sailing, camping, fishing, hiking, star-gazing, working in the vegetable garden, catching fire flies. It was a summer retreat for my sons as well. I am so thankful that they were able to get away from the Big City and spend their summers like little Tom Sawyers exploring the great outdoors under the watchful eye of my Dear Aunt Geneva.- After my Aunt & Uncle passed away, they left the house to my oldest. It’s such a privilege to still have it in the family!
