Since we were young girls a dear friend & I have vowed to spend our ‘last golden years’ sitting on a beach…..
I think we would like our beach to be as this one; with a slightly sinister promise of adventures still to be had & mysteries to be solved………

I agree with Vikki. This is a very fun piece. One wonders what gossip flies between the old friends as they put their backs to the sea; they watch the nest with bated breath as mysteries unfold behind them. Well done.
