This has a wonderful vintage feeling! Now- do you add that reddish stain post all the needle work? It’s such a tasty addition to piece and brings the whole thing together. Wonderful!

Vikki -the color all happens before any stitching. On this piece it was a combination of dyes, soy wax as resist, and more dye.

I’m really a fan of this piece. I’d like to see it in person. My eyes switch between positive and negative space involuntarily. Quite engaging.
