From Vikki: Retro Converse All Star High-top Sneakers- Maintaining a permanent standing in my shoe collection right next to my Bruno Magli heels.
I bought these sneakers about 15 years ago. I think I’ve only worn them once or twice but still just love seeing them in my closet. I haven’t quite figured out exactly what they represent…but definitely something. They’re the type of inanimate object that just makes you chuckle a bit when you look at them. I think that’s what I love about them and my life. Even on the worse days, there’s always something there that makes me smile.

You know they really make your feet look big. I knoooow …it’s weird. And they aren’t that comfortable… but I love them.

Hi-top Converse Sneekers are the first thing I noticed my blind date/now hubby of 34 years was wearing…white ones with black high water jeans. I buy him a new pair every 10 or so years out of sheer nostalgia! Love this painting!
