A backdrop staple of horror, suspense, and thriller greats from Hitchcock to Burton, the iconic image of a landscape rendered sterile by some cataclysm or atrocity generally fills me less with dread and foreboding and more a sense of purpose and grim resolve to correct it. Tie in this thought with my narrative for “Restoration of Accountability” and you’ll see the Twilight Zone aspect of it as well.

Its so wild you mention Hitchcock! I had to put this upfront and top of the gallery. With the dominate black and white, it immediately reminded me of an image that could have been used for the Twilight Zone or a Hitchcock piece. Very cooool and scary.

Lelan, love this and your cooresponding words definitely ring true. I feel symbolism in your hill as a result…you can choose to fall down it or climb up it. ((oh yes, Twilight Zone and ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ is one of my very favorites
