Hi all,
I've just had my first one-man show in a long, long time at Chateau Javarzay, Southern France where I live. Very nervous. Will people turn up? Will I sell anything? etc. etc. and no Valium to be found anywhere. What do I do? Well... I did it. I hung the pictures, 55 new or nearly new work. Guests arrived, slowly at first until it was shoulder to shoulder. I chatted, mingled, spoke French where necessary and where I understood the question, my French is really appalling. I sold. I drank. Need to do another one, quick, before the confidence wares off.
I'd put some pictures in but I can't figure out how to do it... so if any one can help! I'll be posting some on my site over the next few days, so perhaps you can see them there if you feel so inclined.
Ray

Ray, Congratulations! Looks like an interesting venue to show your awesome paintings. Here's hoping the show brings you all the best, and nothing less.

Thanks everyone. The show finishes tomorrow, or should I say today. I sold a good few and it got me some nice local publicity and some well needed practice speaking French. A lot of fun. And now we have a "Midsummer Night's Dream" challenge. Not one to miss!. How good can it get?  Wink
