thanks guys-much appreciated.

Festival life is hard in the heat of summer; however very often with that hard work and time
comes the rewards.   Not just selling the artwork...running into folks who spontaneously say

"we don't buy prints or reproductions".  (Had been trying to get the prints to sell that weekend)
This young couple is  committed to investing in original art.  Had several other pieces.
They took their time, walked the rest of the festival and when looked up they were standing in front
of "gone with the wind".  Learned they were both in the service and getting ready to report to two
different stations.  Although they were married they had drawn different locations with the "hope"
that within a year they would be stationed together overseas.  While my mind was trying to
wrap around the thought of a marriage trying to coupe with that type of separation their attention
shifted to the autumn leaves.  Their purchase seemed appropriate as the two are hoping to
fall together in the autumn of next year when their assignments again align.

When painting a piece, joy or...some struggling occurs.  When selling the piece-continue to be
fortunate in the "most perfect" prospect that comes to the piece.  Finding often; it's not what the
work shows/tells me while creating it......it's in it's final home and who picks it.

Oh, Sonya, I love how you stated that, how true that we find our own meaning in the art/writing that speaks to us, and how amazing when one piece can speak to so many. And yes...YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
