NEWS ALERT.... Just got notice from one our member:
A man going by the name of
Dale Adams is CURRENTLY attempting to scam artists by pretending to buy their work. He professes to be a
"marketing executive" on his way to India on business. He states that he's moving to the UK and wants art for his new "digs."
He then tells you that his shipper will
come to your house and pick up the work after he sends you a certified cheque. He sends more funds than the price of your painting and request you send the difference back. (Hello?
He's not going for the paltry difference in funds. This is how he gets your bank account information and cleans you out.)He has been officially listed on Google as an
active art scammer. Interpretation-

http://www.kathleenmcmahon.com/info/scammer-names.htmlYou know the rules. Never EVER accept a 'check' from an online contact. Never supply personal information about yourself or bank accounts. If any online contact requests to transfer funds into your bank accounts- THE ANSWER IS 'NO WAY!' Be assured- it's a scammer.
